Do I termed it as irresponsible?

I really dun want to judge it. Can it be called irresponsible or plain forgetfulness? or Is it bcos some other people are more important than your own family members? Yep, u need to be wif ur frenz bt y take advantage of ur own family members?
I think it is a virtue to look after ur own flesh & blood. But to ignore them at a time they are helpless & can't feed themselves? I think tt is pure irresponsible.
Now I understand the quote "Promises are meant to be broken & are always empty."
I hope I will not end up tt way in the near future.
