Crikey!! Heard the news from mom when I reached home just now that the infamous Steve Irwin has passed on due to some freak accident (seems like a sting ray stung him).I just could not believe it. Waited for the 9.30pm news & yes, the news no hoax.
I really admire him & his passion for the animals. He is one respectable environmentalist in Australia. I used to enjoy watching his show over at Kids Central, "The Crocodile Hunter".
I really feel that the world especially the Australians has lost one great & passionate man. His love to save the animals & the environment is endless. Such a tragedy. I do hope there will be more of others who are like him to carry on his legacy. A minute of silence for the "GREAT CROCODILE HUNTER."
